Black or coloured; high or low viscosity; high or low hardness.
Identifying the right polymer is the first step to meeting a client’s technical requirements.
Marconigomma can process a vast variety of polymers, each with their own characteristics (see table in PDF format)
and cuts, even those requiring special equipment and skills.
Other raw materials, such as fillers or plasticisers, range from widespread standard components to state of the art, high-performance solutions designed for specific needs.
Moreover, Marconigomma can mix and disperse fibrous materials (e.g. aramid fibres) evenly within the compounds to make high-quality composite blanks.
Each of the two organic compound production lines consists of a closed mixer (one with a capacity of 80 l, which can also produce coloured compounds, and the other of 120 l), an open mixer, and a batch-off. Both lines are fed by an automatic dosing system with silos.
Compounds can come in the forms of pre-cut or non-pre-cut strips and slabs. They can also undergo an additional process and be supplied as a continuous strip.
